Working week
Qatar works Sunday to Thursday, with Friday and Saturday as the weekend — the same pattern as Saudi Arabia and unlike the UAE, which moved to Monday to Friday in 2022. Against our Monday-to-Friday week that leaves four fully shared days. We use Sunday for asynchronous progress and written handover, and we are explicit that Friday is not a working day for you rather than quietly scheduling into it.
Contracting
Public and semi-public engagements typically involve formal procurement, a vendor registration process and a security questionnaire. We complete these properly rather than treating them as an obstacle, and we budget time for them in the schedule. We sign client NDAs as standard and IP assignment on payment is written in. Qatar applies withholding tax to payments to non-resident suppliers and an India–Qatar tax treaty exists; the treatment is a question for your tax adviser and is better settled at contract stage than at first invoice.

No. Our only office is in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. We serve Qatar clients remotely and hold no Qatari entity or registration.
Can you work with Qatari government or semi-government procurement?
We can complete vendor registration, security questionnaires and the documentation formal procurement requires, and we budget time for that rather than being surprised by it. What we cannot do is satisfy a requirement for a locally registered entity, where one exists — that is a condition we would tell you about immediately rather than after you had invested time in the process.
How does the Sunday-to-Thursday week affect the project?
It leaves four fully shared working days, Monday to Thursday. Your Sunday is our weekend and our Friday is yours. We use Sunday for asynchronous progress and written handover so there is something to review when your week opens, and we do not schedule into your Friday.
Do you build in both Arabic and English?
Yes. Both matter in Qatar, with English widely used commercially.
