Software Development Company in Dubai

Dubai is the most competitive digital market in the region. That is worth knowing before you set a budget, because it sets what your users already expect.

The short answer

Does Haqto work with Dubai businesses?

Haqto builds software for Dubai businesses remotely from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. We have no Dubai office, trade licence or entity.

Dubai buyers are usually comparing us against both local agencies and other offshore teams. We would rather win on a clear scope and an honest schedule than on a number, and we will tell you when a brief is larger than the budget it arrived with.

The market

What shapes a Dubai brief

Dubai's economy runs on trade, tourism, real estate and financial services, and its digital market is mature enough that user expectations are set by regional platforms with serious funding behind them. That has a practical consequence for scoping: a competent-but-plain product underperforms here in a way it would not in a less developed market, because the comparison is immediate and one tap away. Property is the clearest example — portal-style search, saved alerts, map browsing and agent messaging are baseline features that buyers assume rather than request. It is also the category where we have the most directly relevant experience, having built and run 66cents, a property marketplace in India covering buying, selling and renting across homes, plots and commercial space.

Where the work comes from

Parts of Dubai we hear from

DIFC

Financial free zone with its own data protection law, distinct from the federal regime. Relevant to architecture before it is relevant to legal.

Dubai Internet City and Media City

Technology and media tenants; typically the most technically literate briefs we receive from the emirate.

DMCC and Jebel Ali

Commodities, trade and logistics. Back-office and operations software rather than consumer products.

Business Bay and Downtown

Agencies, professional services and real estate. Marketing sites, portals and client-facing platforms.

Demand

Sectors we are asked about

  • Real estate and property portals
  • Retail and ecommerce
  • Tourism, travel and hospitality
  • Logistics and freight forwarding
  • Professional and financial services

Buyers

What people actually ask us

Enquiries from Dubai split fairly evenly between established businesses replacing something that has stopped scaling, and founders building a first product. The two need different things from us. The first needs migration planned properly and a realistic account of what breaks; the second needs scope cut back to what can actually be validated. We say which one we think you are.

Questions

Dubai questions

Do you have an office in Dubai?

No. Our only office is in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, and we work with Dubai clients remotely. We hold no Dubai trade licence or entity.

Does it matter that we are licensed in DIFC rather than mainland Dubai?

For the build, yes. DIFC has its own data protection law, separate from the UAE federal regime, and that affects where data can sit and how transfers are handled. Tell us at the start and it costs nothing; tell us after architecture and it can be expensive.

How do your costs compare with a Dubai agency?

We do not publish prices and will not quote against a competitor we have not seen a proposal from. What we will do is scope the work properly and tell you where we think a cheaper approach would be false economy and where an expensive one is not worth it.

Have you built property portals before?

Yes. We built and run 66cents, a property marketplace in India for buying, selling and renting homes, plots and commercial space. It is live and you can look at it. We have no UAE property client to point to and will not pretend otherwise.

Can you work to a Dubai launch deadline tied to an event?

Sometimes, and we will say which parts are realistic and which are not rather than agreeing to everything and renegotiating later. If a date cannot be met with the scope as written, the honest conversation is at the start.
