Remote delivery
Software Development Company in India for US Businesses
US clients are usually solving a capacity problem, not a cost problem. The constraint that decides whether it works is the timezone, so that is what this page is mostly about.
The short answer
Does Haqto work with businesses in United States?
Yes — we work with businesses in United States, remotely, from our office in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
We do not have an office, entity, address or team in United States, and we will not imply one. What we have instead is a defined way of working across the distance, set out below and agreed in writing before anything starts.
The practical constraint
Working hours and overlap
The single thing most likely to decide whether a remote engagement works. Worth being precise about rather than optimistic.
Timezone
India is roughly 9.5 hours ahead of US Eastern and 12.5 hours ahead of US Pacific, shifting by an hour across daylight-saving changes. This is the hardest overlap of any market we serve and it is worth being blunt about: there is no arrangement where both teams work normal hours and talk all day. What works in practice is a stretched Indian evening — our 6:30pm to 8:30pm is roughly 9:00am to 11:00am Eastern — giving a reliable daily window for standups and decisions, with the rest of the day asynchronous. For Pacific clients the window is narrower and usually becomes two or three scheduled calls a week rather than daily contact.
Working week
Monday to Friday on both sides, so only the hours differ, not the days.
Contracting
US engagements typically run on a Master Services Agreement with per-project Statements of Work, which suits how we scope anyway. Expect to need a W-8BEN-E from us for withholding purposes, and expect us to sign your NDA rather than insist on our own. IP assignment on payment is standard in our contracts and we will not negotiate it away.
Local context
What United States briefs tend to look like
General market context, not a claim about our client list. We have no published United States case studies and will not invent any.
The market
The US is the largest market for offshore software delivery and the most experienced buyer of it, which cuts both ways. Clients generally know what they want from an engagement and will ask direct questions about code quality, testing and ownership. They have also usually been burned by a supplier before, so trust is established through process rather than assertion. Demand we see splits between funded startups needing engineering capacity faster than they can hire, and established SMBs replacing systems that no longer fit.
Sectors we see most

Worth being clear about
Data protection and where data lives
Haqto holds no data protection certification and does not give legal advice. Bring us the obligations your advisers identify and we will build to them; do not take a supplier's word for what they are.
Most asked for
Services United States clients start with
Every service is available wherever you are — these are simply the ones this market asks for most.
Custom Software Development
Internal platforms, portals, dashboards and workflow tools modelled on how your operation actually runs — not on how packaged software assumes it should.
Mobile App Development
Android and iOS applications, plus the backend, APIs and admin tooling that make them work. Built once in Flutter or React Native where that suits the product, natively where it does not.
Website Design & Development
Web design and website development from one team — marketing sites, corporate sites, portals and web applications, designed around how your business actually sells.
Hire Developers
Dedicated developers and extended teams for startups, agencies and product companies — with the working model, code ownership and handover agreed in writing before anyone starts.
Ecommerce Development
Catalogue, search, checkout, payments, shipping and order management — on Shopify, WooCommerce, or a custom build when your model does not fit a platform.
The rest of it
NDA, code ownership, QA and support
These do not change by country, so rather than repeat them on six pages they are set out in full on the international delivery page — named team, your repository from day one, IP assignment on payment, code review on every change, and maintenance priced separately.
Questions
Working with Haqto from United States
Does Haqto have a US office?
No. Our only office is in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. We work with US clients remotely and we will not list a virtual address to suggest otherwise.
How do you handle the time difference with the US?
With a deliberately stretched Indian evening rather than pretending it is not a problem. Our 6:30pm to 8:30pm IST is roughly 9:00am to 11:00am US Eastern, which gives a reliable daily window for standups and decisions. Everything else runs asynchronously through a shared board and reviewable staging environments. For US Pacific clients the overlap is narrower and usually becomes two or three scheduled calls a week.
Will you sign our NDA and MSA?
Yes. We sign client paper as a matter of course rather than insisting on our own templates, and we will complete vendor onboarding and security questionnaires properly rather than treating them as an obstacle.
Who owns the source code?
You do, on payment, with assignment written into the contract. Work happens in your repository under your accounts from the first commit, so there is no point at which your product is held by us.
What tax paperwork will we need?
US clients normally need a W-8BEN-E from us to handle withholding correctly. We will provide it. Anything beyond that is a question for your own accountant, not for us.
Can we hire developers directly rather than a project team?
Yes — dedicated developers or an extended team working inside your process, your repository and your rituals. See hire developers.
