The single biggest difference is platform mix. iOS holds a much larger share of the UAE market than it does in India, where Android dominates overwhelmingly. An Android-first build with iOS to follow — a reasonable default for an Indian consumer product — will miss a large and typically higher-spending part of your UAE audience for however long the gap lasts. Planning for parity from the start costs less than catching up later, and it changes technology selection: cross-platform frameworks become more attractive when neither platform can be deprioritised.

Should we build native or cross-platform for the UAE?
It depends on the product, but the UAE's platform mix pushes harder towards cross-platform than India's does, because you cannot treat either platform as secondary. For apps with heavy device integration or demanding performance requirements, native still wins. We will give you a recommendation with the reasoning rather than a default.
Why does iOS matter more here than in India?
Because the share is much higher. In India, an Android-first launch reaches most of the market; in the UAE it does not, and the part it misses skews towards higher spend. That changes sequencing, not just budget.
Can the app include voice or video calling?
Possibly, but it needs checking before architecture rather than after. Voice and video over IP is regulated in the UAE and some approaches that work elsewhere do not work there. We have written this up in detail on our UAE video calling app page.
Do you publish under your developer account or ours?
Yours. The accounts, signing keys, listing and analytics are in your name from the start. We have seen the alternative cause real problems when a relationship ends.
Do you build in Arabic?
Yes. Right-to-left support affects navigation, layout, typography and input across the whole app, so it is an architecture decision taken before design.
