We do not have an office, entity, address or team in United Arab Emirates, and we will not imply one. What we have instead is a defined way of working across the distance, set out below and agreed in writing before anything starts.

Working hours and overlap
The single thing most likely to decide whether a remote engagement works. Worth being precise about rather than optimistic.
Timezone
India is 1.5 hours ahead of Gulf Standard Time, and neither country observes daylight saving, so the gap never changes. Our 9:30am is your 8:00am. For scheduling purposes this is effectively the same working day — calls happen whenever suits, not in a negotiated window.
Working week
The UAE moved to a Monday-to-Friday working week in January 2022, with Friday often finishing early for prayers. That aligns with ours, unlike several neighbouring Gulf states which still run Sunday to Thursday. Ramadan working hours are shorter and we plan schedules around them rather than being surprised by them.
Contracting
Engagements are usually straightforward supplier contracts. We sign client NDAs as standard, and IP assignment on payment is written in. VAT at 5% applies to UAE-supplied services; the treatment of services imported from India is a question for your tax adviser, not for us.

The UAE combines a dense trading and re-export economy with a fast-moving retail, property and hospitality sector, and one of the highest smartphone penetration rates anywhere. Two things shape the briefs we see. First, Arabic and English frequently both matter, and retrofitting right-to-left layout into a site built left-to-right is considerably more expensive than planning for it. Second, there is a very large Indian business community in the Emirates, so working with an Indian supplier is familiar rather than novel — which tends to make conversations more direct.

Working with Haqto from United Arab Emirates
Does Haqto have a Dubai or Abu Dhabi office?
No. Our only office is in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. We work with UAE clients remotely. A great many suppliers advertise a Dubai presence that is a free-zone mailbox; we would rather be accurate.
How does the time difference work?
India is 1.5 hours ahead of the UAE and neither country changes clocks, so the gap is constant. Our working day covers essentially all of yours, which means calls happen when convenient rather than in a scheduled overlap window.
Can you build Arabic and English versions?
Yes, and it should be decided before design starts rather than after. Right-to-left layout affects navigation, alignment, iconography, form design and typography throughout. Retrofitting RTL into a completed left-to-right build is expensive and the result is usually visibly compromised.
Do you work around Ramadan and UAE holidays?
Yes. Ramadan working hours are shorter and UAE public holidays differ from Indian ones. We map both calendars at the start of an engagement so the schedule reflects reality rather than being quietly missed.
Who owns the source code?
You do, on payment, with assignment in the contract. Work happens in your repository under your accounts throughout.
Can you support a UAE payment gateway?
Yes. Gateway integration is routine work; which provider suits you depends on your bank and your customers' preferred methods, and we will recommend based on that rather than on what we have integrated most often.
